American artist, Hilary Berseth, uses the bees to sculpt his art pieces for him. He starts with wire and wax frames, which the bees then fill in with their honeycomb. Next to create a piece, he places his frame into a closed box in the spring and lets a new crop of bees create a honeycomb frame work. It really is miraculous but I wonder how long it takes?
